Suspended -- Stroke Support Group - SBMC

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, in conjunction with Ocean Healthcare Network and American Heart Association, offers a free monthly support group designed to address the unique needs of individuals who have suffered from a stroke. This support group is for current and former patients and their caregivers to talk, share, and learn from each other.

The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, 11:45 am – 1:00 pm

Navigating Life after Stroke: A Resource for Patients and Caregivers
Danielle Haskins, MD, Medical Director, The Stroke Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center
Dr. Haskins is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in the treatment of patients with stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA). She received her medical degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed her residency in Neurology and a Neurophysiology fellowship at Strong Memorial Hospital, University of Rochester, NY. Dr. Haskins, Medical Director of The Stroke Center since 2011, is a member of the American Academy of
Neurology and a member of the American Stroke Association.
