Vanessa Stubbs, MD

Dr. Stubbs is a fellowship-trained head and neck oncologic and microvascular reconstructive surgeon who received her medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. She subsequently completed residency training in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She went on to complete specialized fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction at the University of Miami, Florida. There she served as a clinical instructor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, as well as an attending physician at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. She is now Assistant Professor in the Division of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Stubbs also served as the principal investigator on a nationally-funded grant studying the microbiome and innate immunity receptors in head and neck disease states.
She is a member of the American Head and Neck Society, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Rhinologic Society and Triological Society.
