    Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center

    Christen Lennon Caloway, MD, is a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist who has a special interest in caring for children with airway & voice disorders, hearing loss, and other ear conditions. Dr. Caloway earned her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2013 prior to completing her residency training in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck surgery at Vanderbilt University in 2018. Dr. Caloway then went to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary of Harvard Medical School, where she completed a Pediatric Otolaryngology fellowship in 2019. Dr. Caloway now serves as Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in the Department of Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery and is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

    Dr. Caloway’s clinical interests are centered around children with airway & voice disorders, ear problems such as skin cysts (cholesteatoma), infections and fluid, eardrum perforations, retractions, sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL), and pediatric cochlear implantation. She also cares for children with a wide range of ear, nose, and throat problems such as recurrent ear infections, obstructive sleep apnea, recurrent tonsillitis, neck masses, velopharyngeal insufficiency, and sinus disease.
