Somerset Health Care Foundation’s annual Golf Classic raised $272,000 to support Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) Somerset, an RWJBarnabas Health facility.
The June 5 event at Hamilton Golf Club in Gladstone drew 121 golfers. Title sponsors were Land Rover Princeton, Clinton Honda and the Somerset Patriots and the platinum sponsor was Wm. Blanchard Company.
“It was a great day on the links and an even better day for health care in Somerset County,” said event chair Josh Kalafer, a member of the Somerset Health Care Foundation Board of Trustees. “The funds raised will help Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset advance the health care services it provides to our community. Special thanks to all who supported this event, including our sponsors, golfers and volunteers.”
Somerset Health Care Foundation is a non-profit organization created to solicit and administer charitable funding on behalf of RWJUH Somerset. Gifts to Somerset Health Care Foundation help enhance the hospital’s facilities, technologies and patient care to improve the health of its community.
