“Nursing combines my interest in human physiology with the privilege of caring for people in their time of greatest need. I can help patients and families understand what is happening, explain next steps and provide comfort at a most critical time,” Karelim says.
At Trinitas, nurses work with engaged clinical teammates that are kind-spirited, passionate and willing to go above and beyond in their advocacy for the patients they care for. “Nursing is a career where learning never stops, particularly in the fast-paced environment of emergency nursing where critical thinking is key,” Karelim says. “Our ED staff is a community, and by supporting each other we are united in caring for our patients who are relying on our expertise.”
