With respect for New Jersey’s Public Health Emergency and the community spread of the Coronavirus, Trinitas Health Foundation is gearing up for their first-ever VIRTUAL Non-Gala on May 14.
“The health of Gala supporters is paramount, which has inspired us to have a 20th Anniversary Non-Gala,” said Nadine Brechner, Chief Development Officer, and Vice President of Trinitas Health Foundation. “We feel so fortunate that so many of our donors are still purchasing ads and buying sponsorships just to support us despite not having an event. Thanks to the wonders of technology, everyone’s support will be recognized in an online ad journal so we are going forward with our plans so that we can continue to do what we do. We still have a great desire to honor our award-winners and incite the support of donors to help continue supporting our Medical Center that now has almost 200 COVID patients. Donor support is needed now more than ever, we need to take care of very ill people, especially during this heartbreaking time.”
This year’s honorees are as follows: Wakefern Food Corp., Outstanding Philanthropy Award; Elizabethtown Healthcare Foundation, Leadership Award; and Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, Leadership Award.
Support opportunities are still available and will be handled virtually, such as sponsorships, journal advertisements, virtual tickets and 50/50 raffle tickets. All support will be recognized in an event booklet which will be distributed post event to all supporters and advertised on social media and Trinitas’ website. The ad journal will also be online and posted for all to see. All support will be recognized.
“All of our honorees have generously decided to maintain their sponsorship even though the actual event will not take place,” Brechner added. “We are asking people to follow their lead and show their generous support as they always have. The needs of our community continue to grow and we are particularly challenged at the moment. Our resources are especially stretched as we have had to buy additional ventilators, cardiac monitors and protective gear for our staff as they work hard to protect our community from COVID-19 while caring for our current patient population. Please continue to show us the love that has enabled us to grow. It’s because of that support that we now have 12 outstanding Centers of Excellence, with a reputation for excellent compassionate care as we serve the second highest charity care population in New Jersey.”
