Oct 16, 2018 First baby Born on Columbus Day at Celebrated at Clara Maass Medical Center

Belleville, NJ – A beautiful baby girl, Rose arrived at 12:46 AM and was the first baby born on October 12th, the anniversary of Christopher Columbus' arrival in the Americas in 1492. She weighed 7 lbs. and 2 ounces, and measured 19.7 inches was born to new parents, Amandine Mossaz and Benjamin Benchimoi.

In recognition of Columbus' birthday this year, John Wolfe, Jr. of the North Arlington Council 2596 of the Santa Maria Assembly presented a gift card to the new parents.
