Aug 16, 2018 RWJ Somerset Ranked Among Top Hospitals in New Jersey

Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset has been rated among the top hospitals in New Jersey in the annual hospital rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. The hospital ranked 10th in the state overall and 20th in the New York Metro region and was recognized as “high performing” in the areas of urology, heart failure and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).

The U.S. News & World Report listing is considered to be the nation’s most prestigious hospital ranking system. Criteria for the rankings include survival and readmission rates; patient experience; physician surveys; safety measures; and the quality of nursing care.
