Apr 4, 2018 Monmouth Medical Center’s 10th Annual ‘Ladies Night Out’ to Feature Interactive Panel Discussion on Women’s Health Issues

Long Branch, N.J. – The Leon Hess Cancer Center at Monmouth Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus will host the 10th annual “Ladies Night Out” health event on Thursday, May 10th. This event features a panel of Monmouth Medical Center experts who will be discussing today’s most vital women’s health issues in the hopes of empowering women to live healthy.

The panel discussion will be led by Robert A. Graebe, M.D., gynecologic surgery/chairman and program director, department of obstetrics and gynecology at Monmouth Medical Center, and features five panelists: Seth Cohen, M.D., medical oncologist; Alexander King M.D., breast radiologist; Julie Master, D.O., cardiologist; Andrew Nguyen, M.D., thoracic surgeon; and Abhijit Chatterjee, M.D., geriatrician. These Barnabas Health Medical Group physicians will address frequently asked questions in their areas of expertise and will be open to answer any and all participants’ questions.

Ladies Night Out is a free event that includes complementary dinner and beverages, giveaways, door prizes, Lord & Taylor beauty mini makeovers, Reiki provided by volunteer staff, chair massages by Body in Mind Massage Institute, and essential oils and touchstone crystal by Swarovski, Jersey Girl Barefoot Sandal Jewelry and Coronato’s Clean Cuisine. Both 107.1 The Boss and Thunder 106.3 will be live on-site.

Participants will also have the opportunity to participate in free balance, bone density and blood pressure screenings. As well as, learn about the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Cancer, the Cancer Support Community, the Bariatric Surgery Center, the Joint Replacement Surgery Program, the Chinese and Russian Medical Programs, the Sleep Center, the Department of Radiology and the Barnabas Health Medical Group.

The program will begin promptly at 6 p.m. however; participants are encouraged to arrive early as the doors will open at 5 p.m. at the Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale. Pre-registration for Ladies Night Out is requested as seating is limited. To register, call 1-888-724-7123.
