National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

NJ Hopeline, 1-855-654-6735, is the first New Jersey suicide prevention hotline. It is committed to providing assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to anyone that makes a call for help.

2nd Floor Youth Helpline

2NDFLOOR, available at 1-888-222-2228, is a confidential and anonymous helpline for New Jersey's youth and young adults to help them find solutions to the problems that they face at home, at school or at play.

Crisis Textline is a national 24/7 crisis helpline, done via texting instead of talking on the phone. It is committed to providing assistance 24/7, 365 days a year to anyone that makes a call for help.

Mobile Response and Stabilization Services

You can call Mobile Response and Stabilization Services at 1-877-652-7624 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help children and youth who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. The services are designed to defuse an immediate crisis, keep children and their families safe, and maintain the children in their own homes or current living situation (such as a foster home, treatment home or group home) in the community.

PerformCare (1-877-652-7624) provides 24/7 assistance to families in order to help them access services for their children, teens, and young adults who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, are impacted by substance use treatment needs, or have an intellectual/developmental disability.
