Description: This symposia is designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for renal health care professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge of renal and pancreas transplantation as a treatment modality for their CKD patients. It is specifically designed for dialysis nurses, patient care technicians, dialysis social workers and dietitians. The symposium will also provide initial and re-certification for Transplant Surgeon Designees.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the symposium, all participating RNs and social workers will be certified as Transplant Surgeon Designees according to the guidelines established by The Renal and Pancreas Transplant Division at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
