Heroes Honor Heroes with Community Medical Center Parade

As Community Medical Center’s staff changed shifts on Thursday, April 9, in Toms River, NJ, they were greeted by an incredible sight: 40 firetrucks, SUVs and ambulances surrounded the hospital with lights and sirens blaring, and a giant American flag hanging over the hospital’s entrance. The Toms River Fire Department organized a special tribute to the hospital staff to thank them for their bravery and commitment to patients during the coronavirus pandemic. Three and a half miles of emergency response vehicles, representing countless local first response organizations, took part in this salute to the health care workers on the frontlines.
