Medical Explorers Program

man on stretcherTrinitas Regional Medical Center sponsors a Medical Explorers Post for teens and young adults aged 14–20, male and female, who are interested in exploring medical careers. The Explorers is a division of the Boy Scouts of America.

Some of the proposed areas of the medical center that can be "explored" include the Emergency Department, Emergency Medical Services, Hyperbaric Wound Care, Labor and Delivery, the Operating Room, Radiology, and Respiratory Services.

Rod Muench, Director of Pre-Hospital Services, has been pleased that Trinitas has partnered with the Boy Scouts in this Explorers Post. "Our presence in the community as a healthcare provider makes us well-positioned to offer a variety of educational opportunities for young people to explore what is available to them in the broad area of health care. We can be a valuable resource to them as they consider possible career goals in very rewarding careers that make a difference in the community."

For now, those interested in an application to join the Explorers or who want more information should call Matt Berkowitz at (732) 794-3538 or inquire by email if you click here.
