The Grammy Museum Experience Prudential Center, Prudential Financial, Yendor and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center are partnering to create a mural in your neighborhood. Murals have the power to celebrate a city’s unique cultural history while transforming neighborhoods through increased business, foot traffic and tourism.
In 2018 The Grammy Museum Experience Prudential Center began working with communities across the city to bring vibrant murals to each ward: Wyclef Jean (West Ward); Whitney Houston (Central Ward); and Paradise in the City (North Ward). Now it’s time to celebrate the rich history and culture of the South Ward with a mural at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, on the corner of Lehigh and Lyons Avenue, facing The Beth Greenhouse.
Join us for the first in a series of Mural Project Community Meetings to discuss this project, answer your questions, share your ideas, and choose potential artists.
