Ruth D. Stephenson, DO, FACOG, a fellowship-trained physician specializing in gynecologic oncology, recently joined the medical staff of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, an RWJBarnabas Health facility. Dr. Stephenson will see patients at the hospital’s Steeplechase Cancer Center as well as Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey in New Brunswick.
Dr. Stephenson’s clinical interests include ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, gynecologic cancers, vulvar cancer, minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery, and clinical trials.
She completed her internship and residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. She also completed a fellowship at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
