Jul 30, 2020 Newark Beth Israel Medical Center Names New Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Beverly Coleman(Newark, NJ, July 30, 2020) -- Newark Beth Israel Medical Center has named Beverly Coleman, the new Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer.

Ms. Coleman comes to Newark Beth Israel Medical Center with more than 20 years of progressive business experience in Human Resources, Business Operations, and Sales and Logistics from diverse industries including: Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Marine Transportation, and Manufacturing. Prior to joining Newark Beth Israel, Ms. Coleman was Executive Director & Chief Human Resource Officer at Trinity Health Of New England, where she provided strategic Human Resources and Operational Leadership for the Waterbury market. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Human Resources at Community Health Center, Inc., one of Connecticut’s largest Federally Qualified Health Centers; Vice President of Administration at Hartford Healthcare, Director of Human Resources at Norton Healthcare in Louisville, Kentucky. Outside of healthcare, Ms. Coleman has held various leadership positions at Sara Lee and American Commercial Lines.

Ms. Coleman has successfully led initiatives within Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, Workforce Management, Recognition, Mergers & Acquisitions and Process Improvement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Political Science from University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

Ms. Coleman is also a Certified Mediator and most recently achieved her lean Six Sigma Black Belt during her tenure at Trinity Health Of New England.
