- The Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH) at RWJUH, part of the Children’s Health Network of RWJBarnabas Health, provides expert care for premature and critically ill newborns.
- RWJUH Somerset provides a Level II Intermediate Care Nursery that is staffed 24/7 by a board-certified neonatologist from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and specialty trained nurses. If an infant needs more intensive care, they are stabilized and safely and quickly transported by a special team to BMSCH’s NICU.
- Large private rooms for labor and delivery and units equipped with state-of-the-art technology for high-risk deliveries and premature babies.
- All modern private postpartum rooms with spa-like accommodations, sleeper chairs and comfortable seating.
- Lactation resource nurses help you achieve your breastfeeding goals and outpatient support after discharge.
