Thomas Moore, a licensed clinical social worker and a NASW approved Social Work Diplomate, is the Administrative Director of Business & Clinical Operations of an outpatient therapy program at RWJBarnabas Health. This service provides therapy, coaching, stress management, professional development and organizational consultations to the 34,000 employees and health care system leaders.

Tom is a fierce advocate of race, LGBTQ and age diversity and equality. He has consulted with over 40 organizations and executives for the past 30 years, and is committed to making the workplace friendly, empowering and productive. Tom has a special interest in helping medical residencies fulfill their ACGME Common Program Requirements for resilient physicians.

Tom maintains a private practice in the West Village of Manhattan and is a graduate of two post-graduate training programs in psychotherapy. In his practice, Tom treats highly reactive couples, anxiety, depression, addiction and overuse problems, alternative lifestyle issues, executive coaching and workplace difficulties.

Finally, Tom is an independent filmmaker: his short films have won screenwriting awards and are official selections in over a dozen independent film festivals. He recently created the stress management video series, “The Calm Collection” for the RWJBarnabas Health Care System.
