RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified adult psychiatrist for an immediate leadership position at RWJ University Hospital Somerset in the inpatient involuntary unit. This is a full-time inpatient opportunity supported by a multidisciplinary team that helps to manage admissions, psychiatric evaluations, discharge summaries, and potential civil commitment proceedings. He/she will direct and participate in team meetings, treatment planning, disposition, and other certifying requirements

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $315,000 to $505,000 per year.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience.
Successful candidates must be:
- ABPN board-certified or board-eligible in Adult Psychiatry
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
- Ideally experienced working in an inpatient setting
- High energy, adaptable, and able to work on a team
