Center for Discovery, Innovation and Development Internship Opportunity

Internship Position

The Center for Discovery, Innovation and Development (CDID) mentors and trains interns interested in contributing to positive, meaningful change for individuals with special needs. Interns will gain valuable skills and hands-on experience while making contributions that directly impact children with special needs and their families.

This is an on-site internship based in our Millburn, New Jersey office.

CDID is seeking interns interested in research, data collection, program metrics, community outreach, and promotional marketing to support our impact initiatives.

Key projects include inclusive training and education, CDID's pitch competition, and promotional initiatives for new innovations and projects developed by CDID and its partners.

Eligibility for this position includes:

  • An interest in enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs (individuals with special needs are encouraged to apply!)
  • A motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to build professional relationships
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, learn new skills quickly, and receive direction from multiple individuals
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An interest in research, data collection, community outreach, marketing, and social impact
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

This position is eligible for either a paid stipend or school credit.
