We provide an array of health, referral and educational services, promote LGBTQ health equity and access to care, and develop effective partnerships with LGBTQ organizations, agencies and allies.

Diverse Young People in discussion Jersey City Medical Center, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick and Somerset, Monmouth Medical Center, Clara Maass Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center were all recognized as “Leaders in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, the educational arm of the country’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization. This is the fifth consecutive year for JCMC and the fourth consecutive year for both RWJUH hospitals chosen among a select group of health care facilities nationwide to receive this designation.
