residency. Trinitas residencies combine the family feeling and individual
attention of a smaller community hospital program with the resources of
a large system that encompasses both Rutgers Medical Schools.

Residency Programs
William Farrer, M.D. FACP, FIDSA
Director of Medical Education
A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Farrer completed his Internal Medicine residency at Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center, Bronx, NY and his fellowship in Infectious Disease at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He was Associate Program Director for many years and subsequently Internal Medicine Program director. He served on the American College of Physicians New Jersey Chapter Governor's Council for many years and in 2014 received the prestigious Laureate Award for Service to ACP. He has been listed as a Top Doctor in New York Magazine, New Jersey Monthly, and the Castle Connolly Guide. Dr. Farrer recently stepped down as Program Director, but continues as a core faculty member and DME.
