The Northern Department of Cardiac Surgery at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) is able to offer you the most comprehensive and compassionate care.

Our multidisciplinary team comprised of cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists and cardiac surgeons are experts in diagnosing and treating all cardiac valve syndromes and disorders. Historically, cardiac surgery has been performed as an open procedure, but over the years, minimally-invasive techniques have been developed to provide safe and effective alternatives.

It is my pleasure to introduce you to the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. As an elite cardiac center, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center provides a full array of advanced cardiovascular services including off-pump “ beating heart” coronary artery bypass, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral valve repair and MitraClip, minimally-invasive cardiac surgery, aortic surgery (aneurysms) and atrial fibrillation (ablation, atrial appendage ligation).

Our multidisciplinary team of nationally recognized cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, radiologists and anesthesiologists work collaboratively to offer patients individualized care with faster recovery times and fewer complications.
