Saint Barnabas Medical Center’s mission is to provide compassionate care, healthcare excellence, and superior service to our patients and their families.

The most ambitious construction project at the hospital in two decades, the 241,000 square-foot, five-story Cooperman Family Pavilion, which opened in September, is the cornerstone of the campus transformation.

The Cooperman Family Pavilion is home to a world-class Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; new state-of-the-art nursing units, and a host of modern and expansive outpatient testing areas along with a light-filled, two-story Eric F. and Lore Ross lobby and a new parking garage.

Through collaboration with Saint Barnabas caregivers, this transformative project draws from the very best evidence-based hospital design. The five-story pavilion features soothing colors, abundant natural light and leading-edge patient care technology. Most importantly, every Cooperman Family Pavilion patient room is a private room.

The Cooperman Family Pavilion embodies what matters most to our patients. From curb-free showers that prevent falls, to acoustical materials that reduce noise, to private rooms bathed in natural light, the community will derive hope, healing, and peace of mind from our campus-wide transformation.
