Expectant Parents Tour
Expectant parents, this complete maternity experience will guide you through what to expect during your time in the hospital. You’ll tour the Mother-Baby Unit, Labor and Delivery and learn where the nursery is. Adults only. Tours are held on Thursday evenings. Tours are also available in Spanish on Wednesday evenings.
Birthing Basics
This program for expectant parents provides in-depth information on all stages of childbirth. Parents will learn about preparing for labor, signs of labor, comfort measures as well as what to expect immediately after the birth of your child. The knowledge gained during this course will help in promoting a positive birth experience.
Prenatal Breastfeeding
Expectant parents will learn about all things breastfeeding, including proper positioning and latch, maternal nutrition, utilizing a breast pump and avoiding common breastfeeding issues. This course is taught by a Certified Lactation Counselor.
Infant Care
This course is designed to educate about infant care topics such as bathing, feeding, changing diapers, safe sleep practices and so much more. This program has been created to help instill confidence in parenting skills of expectant couples.
