Barbara Mullery, PHR
Vice President, Administration
As Vice President of Administration, Ms. Mullery is responsible for Human Resources, Staff Education, Plant Services, Dietary Services, Environmental Services, Patient Satisfaction, Patient Advocacy and Volunteer Services. Prior to this appointment, she served as Director of Human Resources.
Prior to joining RWJ Rahway in 2009, Ms. Mullery held diverse positions in the field of Human Resources in the technology, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and utility industries. With more than 20 years of HR experience, 15 years in leadership posts, Ms. Mullery has concentrated her career on Organizational Effectiveness, Employee Relations and Strategic Planning.
Ms. Mullery has her bachelor’s in Labor Studies and Employment Relations from Rutgers University. She is PHR certified with the Society for Human Resource Management and holds a Certification in Advanced HR studies from Cornell University. She also has her Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA), the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA) and the Health Care Executive Network.
