General and Specialty Dentistry Services
In a typical year, our hospital dentistry team sees more than 16,000 patients in our outpatient facilities. Our team consists of 42 active attending dentists, nine dental residents, and more than a dozen additional dental personnel, making us the largest hospital-based dental program in New Jersey.
Dental Services
We perform both general and specialty dentistry services, including:

- Oral surgery
- Oral pathology
- Pediatric dentistry
- Dental care for the medically compromised
- Operating room general anesthesia dentistry for the handicapped and disabled
Same day emergency dental services are also available at some locations during regular hours of operations.
Treating Patients of All Ages
We offer dental services to patients of all ages. It is not unusual for young children to feel nervous about going to the dentist, and a bad experience as a child can result in that anxiety carrying over into adulthood. We have gone above and beyond to create a warm, inviting dentistry department staffed with friendly professionals who want nothing more than to provide every patient with a positive experience.
Our waiting areas are designed for comfort and provide many entertaining features for family members to pass the time while waiting for their loved one to finish their appointment. Creating a friendly atmosphere at the entrance of the department is important, as it helps put anxious children at ease and make the entire experience feel less intimidating.
Residency Program
Our dentistry program is also known for its esteemed dental residency program. We have one of the state’s largest community teaching hospitals, connecting dental residents with a highly regarded dental staff. Our comprehensive education program covers both academic and clinical dentistry procedures, and we offer continued education through four full-day seminars presented by national names in the dental field.
