As Interim Chief Administrative Officer, Lisa Breza has oversight for nursing at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) Hamilton. She is responsible for driving the patient and family experience and quality outcomes to ensure safe, quality patient care. Ms. Breza has successfully led nursing at RWJUH Hamilton to achieve Magnet® recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
In addition to nursing, Ms. Breza has oversight of the Emergency Department, rehabilitation services, surgical services, cardiac and cancer services, along with radiology services. As a leader of patient care, Ms. Breza is a member of numerous committees at RWJUH Hamilton, including the Medical Quality Council, Patient Safety Committee, Critical Care, Performance Improvement, Quality and Safety Committee of the Board, Patient and Family Advisory Committee and others.
Ms. Breza has been a member of the RWJUH Hamilton team for over 35 years, many of those years in a leadership role. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from The College of New Jersey and a Master’s degree in Nursing from Thomas Edison University. She has also completed a fellowship program with the Healthcare Advisory Board. Ms. Breza is recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Board Certified Nurse Executive. She is a resident of Hamilton, New Jersey and is passionate about delivering quality care to the community in which she lives and serves.
