Best advice: Running has taught me this: Whenever you feel like giving up, don't stop. Take a deep breath and scale back. Take one step at a time and go at your own pace. Soon enough, you'll find yourself at the finish line.
What are you excited about this year?: I am excited to develop my clinical skills, learn from exceptional preceptors, and live through my first snow-filled winter!

Education: Long Island University Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy
Practice Area of Interest: Ambulatory care, infectious diseases, emergency medicine
Best advice: It is your journey. Stay consistent and determine no matter what obstacle you face. Remember success is often preceded by failure.
What are you excited about this year?: I am excited to be a part of an interdisciplinary team and create new learning experiences as well as relationships throughout the RWJBH health system.
Past Residents - Where are They Now?
Nicole Leonida - post-PGY-1 graduation in 2018, Nicole was hired as a full time evening shift pharmacist at JCMC. As of later 2019, Nicole stepped into the role of Antimicrobial Stewardship/ID Clinical Specialist at JCMC and obtained her BCPS.
Regina Deap - post-PGY-1 graduation in 2019, Regina was hired as a full time evening shift pharmacist at JCMC. From September 2020 to February 2021, Regina filled our 6th floor Med/Surg Unit Clinical Specialist role (while our usual specialist was on leave). Regina continues to be a full time evening pharmacist at JCMC and obtained her BCPS.
Czarina Viduya - post-PGY-1 gradiation in 2019, Czarina was hired at an academic hospital as a full time pharmacist in the pediatric unit.
Hirra Khan - post-PGY-1 graduation in 2020, Hirra was hired as a full-time evening shift pharmacist at JCMC.
Leo Batongbakul - post-PGY-1 graduation in 2020, Leo completed a PGY-2 Psychiatry Pharmacy Residency at University of Maryland and has joined JCMC as our Psychiatry Clinical Specialist.
Michelle Mei - post-PGY-1 graduation in 2021, Michelle was hired as a per diem pharmacist at JCMC.
Mary Ibrahim - post-PGY-1 graduation in 2021, Mary is currently completing her PGY-2 Geriatric Residency at LECOM Health.
