Annual Salary and Benefits: For House Staff

Meal Allowance: $340 is uploaded to residents employee badge on the 1st of the month on a quarterly basis.

Vacation: A total of four weeks paid vacation (taken in one or two week blocks) per year are allowed.

Insurance: Health, hospital, dental insurance and prescription plan for the resident, spouse, and dependent children are provided by CBMC. Life insurance, in an amount equal to the annual salary paid, disability insurance, and professional liability insurance are also included in the benefits package.

Book Allowance: Each resident is provided with an educational stipend on a yearly basis of $400. This stipend can be used toward purchases of educational materials for use during residency.

Lab Coats: Three white lab coats per year are issued to each resident of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.

Counseling and psychological support services are available.

Salaries as of 7/1/2020 PGY-I: $60,243; PGY-II: $64,326 PGY-III: $68,264 PGY-IV: $72,250; PGY-V: $74,168; PGY-VI: $76,075.
