As the Director of the new Volunteer Global Health department at RWJBarnabas Health, it is my privilege to share our vision with you.
Global health begins within our borders. As our world becomes more connected, no institution or community is an island unto itself. Our local communities are made up of multi-ethnic and multi-cultural citizens and their families and peers connect us with communities abroad. RWJBarnabas Health seeks to take its place in these global communities.
RWJBarnabas Health employees have a legacy of passion and compassion when it comes to providing charitable service locally and abroad, as evidenced by the incredible outpouring of support to the victims of the recent Nepal earthquakes.
It is our goal to facilitate and celebrate this passion and the amazing charitable volunteer projects of the RWJBH network happening locally and internationally and we invite you to get involved.
