Diabetes Support Groups: Stress and Emotional Eating (ACC)
Stress is a normal part of everyone’s life. But, when you have a chronic illness such as diabetes, life’s stressors can become overwhelming. For some, stress can be a trigger for emotional eating. Join us for an informal group discussion, led by Melissa Jacobs, licensed social worker and certified diabetes educator with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, regarding emotional eating and how to cope with life’s stressors while still maintaining balance in your diabetes self-care.
