Please join Ajah Shah, MD, MS, FACC, FASE, RPVI, RWJBarnabas Health Cardiac Institute and Alicia Jones, RN, BSN, Stroke Coordinator from Monmouth Medical Center, as they discuss stroke prevention and risk factors, signs and symptoms, and treatment options. Presenters will also discuss Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)/irregular heartbeat and its connection to stroke, and why knowing the symptoms and getting treatment can significantly reduce heart-related illnesses. This program including lunch will take place in the SCAN Auditorium in the lower level of the Monmouth Mall.
