Samantha Harris, breast cancer survivor and former co-host of Dancing with the Stars and Entertainment Tonight, will headline Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset’s 11th annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Event on Tuesday, Oct 16 at Bridgewater Manor, 1251 Route 202/206, Bridgewater. The program, entitled “Your Healthiest Healthy: 8 Easy Ways to Take Control, Help Prevent and Fight Cancer, and Live a Longer, Cleaner, Happier Life” will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Breast surgeon Deborah Lue, MD, of RWJ Physician Enterprise’s Steeplechase Breast Specialists and medical director of the Sanofi US Breast Care Program at the Steeplechase Cancer Center, will provide an overview of risk factors for breast cancer, signs and symptoms of the disease, the latest diagnostic equipment such as 3D mammography and available treatments.
