Free HIV Testing - Monmouth Medical Center

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates 1.2 million people in the United States are living with HIV, with one in eight unaware of their infection. The only way to know for certain if someone has HIV is to get tested.

The CDC recommends that everyone between the ages 13 to 64 get tested at least once for HIV as part of their routine health care. People with more than one sex partner, people with sexually transmitted diseases and people who inject drugs are likely to be at a high risk and should get tested at least once a year.

Appointments are not needed for the free HIV testing on June 27. For more information, contact Yazmira Harwood at (732) 923-7137 or (732) 923-7138.
