Finding Your Strengths: Create Your Own Ecomap and Genogram - Monmouth Medical Center

While support systems can give patients a group of people to lean on and talk to, they can also be educational.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the support systems in their life by creating an ecomap and a genogram. An ecomap is a diagram that shows the social and personal relationships a person has with their environment. A genogram is a graphic representation of a family tree that not only shows relationships but heredity patterns and psychological factors.

The program will be led by Megan Tuohy, who is in the Masters of Social Work program at Monmouth University and is a social work intern for the Cancer Support Community.
