The Benefits of Tai Chi - Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus

In a recent, US Based study reported in the JAMA Internal Medicine, a Tai Chi intervention reduced falls by 58% compared with stretching alone. Tai Chi is a gentle, safe, evidence-based form of physical activity which can improve balance and coordination and can be performed by anyone, regardless of ability. Join expert tai chi instructor, Kit Lau, as she explores the many benefits of Tai Chi on both physical and mental health. Tai Chi, sometimes called “moving meditation”, focuses on slow movement, breathing, relaxation, and can be done sitting or standing.
