Diabetes Self Management Class at Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center
The Diabetes Self-Management Class is taught by certified diabetes educators, nurses and nutritionists, and includes four two-hour classes plus a one-hour follow-up class. Both in-person and virtual classes are being offered.
Topics covered include Diabetes disease process, nutritional management, physical activity, medications, monitoring, prevention, detection, and treatment of acute and chronic complications, goal setting and problem solving, and psychosocial adjustment.
This class is for adults only.
A physician's prescription is required.

We participate with insurance plans. Medicare reimbursement is also accepted.
