FREE High Risk Lung Cancer Screening - Monmouth Medical Center

According to the American Lung Association, lung cancer is the leading cause of death in both men and women in the United States. It is most curable when diagnosed early. In an effort to help identify those who may be at high risk for developing lung cancer, the Leon Hess Cancer Center will provide free lung cancer education and offer no-cost lung cancer screenings to those who qualify. To qualify for a free, low-dose CT lung scan, you must be between 45 and 74 years of age and be a current or former smoker who quit smoking less than 15 years ago and complete a screening profile with a registered nurse. Light fare and spirometry screening will be available as well. These screenings will take place in the Radiology Department at Monmouth Medical Center.
