OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner should be able to:

  • Identify and assess patients with acute and chronic venous disease
  • List techniques available to vascular practitioners to treat DVT, PE, and chronic venousinsufficiency
  • Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of endovenous and open procedures.
  • Determine the appropriate treatment of pain swelling and ulceration as a result of venous hypertension

TARGET AUDIENCE
Vascular Surgeons, Cardiac Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Cardiologists, Internists, Neurologists, Nurses. All members of the health care team are welcome.
