Dementias - Monmouth Medical Center

Dementia is a group of symptoms that includes short-term memory loss, confusion, inability to problem-solve or complete multi-step activities and occasionally personality changes or unusual behavior. Many different diseases can cause dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease and stroke therefore a diagnosis requires a complete medical evaluation.

In this program, presented by Dr. Shira Goldberg, MD, Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, attendees will learn more about the symptoms, causes, diagnosis and treatment of dementia.

Light refreshments will be provided. This program, for ages 60 and older, will take place at the Howell Senior Center, located at 251 Preventorium Road in Howell.
