What's in Your Medicine Cabinet - Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus
Are you unwittingly contributing to the heroin epidemic in Ocean County? In a recent survey, 3,000 Ocean County students reported that is it "easy" or "very easy" to get prescription medications from their parents' and grandparents' medicine cabinets. Barnabas Health Institute for Prevention in partnership with the Center for Healthy Aging at Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and the Ocean County DART Coalition, will give an informative program at Ocean County Library, Point Pleasant Branch, on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. In this presentation, you will learn ways you can protect your grandchildren, family and friends from the epidemic of prescription drug and heroin addiction.
A prescription drug drop off will be available during the program.
