IFP Strengthening Families Program - Ocean County
A free 14-week educational program for Ocean County parents, grandparents, guardians and their 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders.
Presented by Barnabas Health Institute for Prevention in partnership with St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Barnabas Health Institute for Prevention's Strengthening Families Program utilizes the award-winning Strengthening Families curriculum.
Parents/guardians will enrich existing skills for a successful, healthy, substance-free future for their child and become better prepared to meet the complexity of today's parenting challenges. Youth will practice effective communication, healthy coping strategies and skills for resisting peer pressure.
Families will unite to practice everything they have learned!

Beginning Monday, July 7, 2014, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., Beachwood, New Jersey
Weekly Program Schedule:
5:30 — 6:00 p.m. Complimentary Dinner
6:00 — 7:00 p.m. Families Break into Groups
7:00 — 7:30 p.m. Families Unite to Practice Skills
Free on-site childcare is provided to children under 10 years old. Gifts and prizes will be awarded to families with regular attendance. Upon completion of the program, a graduation ceremony will be held where all participants will receive a certificate.
