Matters of the Heart: Disease Prevention, Treatment and Recovery

The 14th Annual Steven A. Gelman Memorial Health Forum, features a panel of experts from The Heart Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center who will discuss how to reduce the risk of heart disease, how to recognize the warning signs of heart disease and heart attack, and available treatment options.

Chief of Cardiology, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and Barnabas Health with special interest in prevention, cardiovascular conditioning and valvular disease.

Maureen F. Smith, BS, RN

Nurse Manager of Cardio-Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center with special interest in critical care and education.

Sabino R. Torre, MD, FACC, FACP

Director, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, and board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology.
