This event is designed to help Athletic Trainers stay AHEAD of the game and learn how to identify sports injuries and overuse injuries early on in female athletes as well as understand a proactive approach to prevention.

Core Topics will include:

A focus on Injury Response, Rehabilitative, and Training Methods will include:

  • Scapular thoracic problems and multidirectional instability in female athletes.
  • ACL treatment and early identification in females.
  • Prehab, Performance and conditioning methods for the female athlete.
  • Concussion in Female athletes and proper heading mechanics in soccer.
  • Correlation of poor training dynamics with injury response.

Learning Objectives will include:

  • Defining proper body mechanics and treatment through prehab based preventative training.
  • Recommending approaches for treatment, intervention, and diagnosis of common sports injuries in females.
  • Practical application of movement analysis with prehab based performance techniques for the female athlete.
  • Identification and evaluation of the latest approaches for most common injuries in females.

While there is no fee to attend this seminar, advanced registration is required. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
