Dr. Laraya-Cuasay, M.D. — a fellowship-trained pediatric pulmonologist — provides comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents with pulmonary disorders.
Dr. Laraya-Cuasay received her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas, College of Medicine & Surgery, Manila, the Philippines, and trained in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Louisville in Kentucky and Charity Hospital of New Orleans. She completed fellowship training in child growth and development at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and pediatric pulmonology and cystic fibrosis at St Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Philadelphia. She is board certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Chest Physicians. She holds membership in a host of professional societies, including the American Lung Association/American Thoracic Society of Pediatric Assembly and New Jersey Thoracic Society. She was the former director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Division and Cystic Fibrosis Center and professor of pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Dr. Laraya-Cuasay has written numerous articles on pediatric pulmonary subjects and has conducted extensive research on childhood asthma and cystic fibrosis.
