    Dr. Joshua Levine is a super sub-specialist in the area of perforator flap microsurgical breast reconstruction . For the past 10 years, Dr. Levine has dedicated his entire practice to only one type of operation: perforator flap breast reconstruction. These operations include the DIEP, the GAP, the PAP, the extended DIEP flap, and the SIEA operations. Dr. Levine is a pioneer in the field, and has made significant contributions to the world's knowledge on these and other micro-surgical procedures. He has operated all over the world, has edited text books, written many textbook chapters, and written some of the seminal papers regarding breast reconstruction with these techniques. Dr. Levine is a world leading authority on the DIEP flap and all perforator flap breast reconstruction. Dr. Levine began the program at St Barnabas several years ago and was the first to perform DIEP surgery at St Barnabas. Dr. Levine trained many of the surgeons now performing these procedures and continues to work with these surgeons.
