    Dr. John Burns is a board-certified internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases specialist.  Dr. Burns earned his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship at the Long Beach VA Hospital through the University of California, Irvine. His residency was completed at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Presbyterian Hospital, University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Dr. Burns is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the American Heart Association Council on Clinical Heart Disease, and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, as well as a member of the American College of Physicians.
