    Bio

    Dr. James Donovan was born in NYC and grew up in Freehold, NJ. He attended Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ. He earned a BS in Biology and General Science from Villanova University in 1979. His medical education was obtained from Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his doctorate degree in 1983 finishing at the top of his class. Dr. Donovan completed his podiatric surgical residency at The Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. He was awarded the title of Chief Resident upon completion of his first year. As an avid minimalist runner, Dr. Donovan has accomplished 3 Marathons in the past 3 years. He is also in pursuit of a "Black Belt" in Shokatan Karate. And his passion is sports medicine.
