    Bio
After 20 years in the learning and memory field studying the electrophysiology of the Hippocampal system, in rodents and non-human primates, I now apply my expertise clinically, as part of the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) program at Robert Wood Johnson to combat Movement Disorders such as Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor, and Dystonia, as well as the psychiatric indication of medically refractory OCD. As a member of the Division of Neurosurgery, I assist during the initial implantation surgery as the clinical neurophysiologist determining the target site. Postoperatively, I participate with the Department of Neurology in the management and assessment of the DBS systems, functioning as the lead DBS programmer.
